1. Not disinfecting before raising chickens: Whether it is a new or old chicken coop, before feeding chicks, farmers need to completely disinfect the coop to avoid the presence of bacteria, pathogens, and microorganisms. However, most chicken farmers are not adequately prepared for disinfection, resulting in incomplete disinfection and susceptibility to diseases in the flock. Therefore, farmers need to thoroughly disinfect all equipment and tools before feeding chicks,

2. Not valuing the selection of chicks: Some breeders are not clear about the source of chicks, resulting in unclear health status of chicks. When choosing chicks, breeders must purchase from breeding farms with production and operation licenses and reliable quality.

3. Unreasonable drinking water and feeding for chicken flocks: The feeding and drinking work of chicks is very important. Drinking water too late can cause dehydration and death of chicks, while feeding too late can lead to some chicks eating other foreign objects. Farmers should first let the chicks rest in the transport box for 30 minutes after being placed in the chicken cage, and then release them to drink water freely for 2-3 hours (24-36 hours after hatching), and then sprinkle the ingredients on the feeding tray for free feeding. Epidemic prevention drugs can be added to drinking water.

4. The temperature control in the chicken coop is improper. Chickens need relatively high temperatures for healthy growth when they are just born. Farmers should control the temperature at around 33-35 ℃ during the first week of chick rearing. The survival rate of chicks is directly affected by temperature. If the temperature is too low, it can cause a decrease in body temperature and weaker resistance, leading to various diseases. If the temperature is too high, it can cause heat effects and result in heatstroke.

5. Low awareness of hygiene and epidemic prevention: The environmental hygiene of the chicken coop is the key to the healthy growth of the * * chicken flock, so hygiene management of the coop is very important. Xingruida suggests that farmers should have specialized footwear and clothing when entering and exiting. Do not let people enter or exit the chicken coop at will. If sick chickens appear, be aware of quickly isolating and disinfecting them. In terms of disinfection, farmers must have the concept of regular disinfection.
